Principal Forensic Polygraph Examiner / Forensic Psychophysiologist

Martin Taylor is a Forensic Psychophysiologist and a Principal Certified Forensic Polygraph Examiner with more than 22 years experience in law enforcement and the Australian Defence Force. He is a Commissioned Officer in the Australian Army (Reserve), holding the rank of Major and a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia. In 2009, he was elected as the National President of the Forensic Polygraph Association of Australia. Martin is highly competent in the field of behavioural analysis, interviewing and detecting deception and is the most academically qualified polygraph examiner in Australia. Martin uses his legal and investigative expertise to specialise in computerised polygraph and truth verification testing throughout Australia.

Martin is a graduate of ten separate universities and colleges throughout the world and in 2008, Martin became the first Barrister and Solicitor in Australia to graduate as a Certified Forensic Polygraph Examiner graduating from the Maryland Institute of Criminal Justice in the United States of America. After graduating, Martin worked with, trained and examined polygraph testing format and behavioural interview techniques utilised by a number of police departments in the United States of America before going on to complete advanced polygraph training courses consisting of interviewing and interrogation of Post Convicted Sexual Offender Testing training which utilises polygraph testing in the treatment and surveillance of convicted sexual offenders and paedophiles released into the community.

Martin is a Certified Forensic Polygraph Examiner, the President of the Forensic Polygraph Association of Australia, a member of the American Association of Police Polygraphists, the American Polygraph Association, the British and European Polygraph Association and the Australian and New Zealand Forensic Science Society. Martin provides his expert services to the public, government and corporate sectors and organisations worldwide. He was the first person in Australia to import and use the Lafayette L5000 wireless digital polygraph instrument, the latest state-of-the-art polygraph technology, (also known as lie detection testing equipment) in the world.
